About the position

Industrial Sales Representative (KZN)

Package: R25000 p/m negotiable plus co vehicle, medical aid, provident fund, tools of the trade and commission

Overview: Achieve Sales targets, action plans and goals as set by management, by effectively servicing existing customers, acquiring new customers and increasing sales in the wood, carton and plastic industries.

Duties:

• Servicing existing and new customers effectively by maintaining a regular call pattern
• Forming a dynamic business relationship with existing as well as new customers.
• Acquire new customers and new business
• Increase sales at existing customers
• Ensure that customers always have sufficient stock
• Problem solving
• Maintain a professional business attitude in all daily transactions
• Maintain sound administration practices i.e. reports

Requirements:

• Minimum requirement - Grade 12
• A sales/marketing qualification would be advantageous
• Proven experience in managing key accounts worth more than R10 million per annum
• Minimum 5 years industrial product selling and applications experience
• Knowledge of water-based solvents, and chemicals advantageous
• Applicant must be willing to work flexible hours, when called upon to do so.
• In possession of a valid unendorsed driver's license.
• Computer literate - Specifically Excel, SYSPRO experience advantageous
