About the position
We are seeking a highly orgarnised and skilled Industrial Relations (IR) Officer to join our team. The IR Officer will play a critical role in maitaining harmonious workplace relations, resolving disputes and insuring compliance with labour laws. The ideal candidate will be in succession of the following:
- Provide advice, consult and facilitate on IR Labour related issues.
- Manage the implementation and application of disciplinary and grievance procedures and policies.
- Represent the company at dispute forums, develop and conduct IR Trainings.
- Facilitate the implementation of union/management meetings and conduct negotiations at union leve
- Have strong negotiation and communication skills,
- Knowledge and experience in labour regulations, and have a diplomatic approach to conflict resolution.
- Attention to details , analytical thinking and the ability to balance the needs of the employees and management effectively.
