About the position

Key responsibilities of an industrial maintenance technician:

• Preventative maintenance:

Performing regular inspections and servicing of machinery to prevent breakdowns, including lubrication, cleaning, and adjusting parts.

• Troubleshooting and repair:

Diagnosing mechanical issues by observing equipment operation, identifying malfunctioning parts, and making necessary repairs.

• Part replacement:

Dismantling machinery to access faulty components, removing damaged parts, and installing replacements.

• Equipment installation:

Setting up new machinery and ensuring proper functionality according to specifications.

• Inventory management:

Maintaining stock of spare parts and supplies, placing orders when necessary.

• Documentation:

Keeping detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used.

• Safety compliance:

Adhering to safety procedures and regulations while working on industrial equipment.

Our client based in Montague Garden is looking for an experience INDUSTRIAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN for one of their sites that is based in Montague Garden.
The successful candidate should possesses the following skills and experience.

Required skills and qualifications:




- Mechanical aptitude: Strong understanding of mechanical principles, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.
- Troubleshooting skills: Ability to diagnose complex mechanical issues and identify root causes.
- Hand tools proficiency: Expertise in using a variety of hand tools and power tools to perform repairs.
- Technical knowledge: Familiarity with industrial equipment manuals and blueprints.
- Physical ability: Capability to lift heavy objects and work in confined spaces.
- Problem-solving skills: Ability to analyse situations, identify solutions, and implement repairs effectively.
