About the position
CORE FUNCTIONS:
- Install and provide operating training on industrial laundry-and catering equipment.
- Prepare quotations and repair industrial laundry-and catering equipment.
- Carry out routine maintenance on industrial laundry-and catering equipment.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- From years of experience it is a proven fact that even the most experienced electricians/fitters require extensive training as the variety of equipment is quite extensive and we therefore are looking for "go getters" who is keen to learn and grow with the company. Candidates -
- Must be a Qualified Electrician/Fitter/Millwright.
- Have a minimum of 3 years working experience in a similar environment.
- Must have a Matric Certificate.
- Have a minimum of an N4 Technical certificate.
- Must demonstrated the ability to be a keen learner with a "make it happen attitude".
- Must be fast learner and must be able to work both independently and within a team environment
- Must possess good verbal and written communication skills
- Must have valid driver's license.
SALARY PACKAGE
- Annual performance bonus - similar to a 13th cheque but performance based.
- Medical Aid on 50/50 basis - Discovery Classic Saver Plan.
- Pension fund contributions by the company of 4,5% and 2% by the employee.
- Life Insurance Cover - equivalent to 2 years annual salary.
- 15 Days Annual leave - 20 Days after 5 years of service.
Only candidates that living in Cape Town and surrounding areas will be considered for this position.
