About the position
Industrial Engineer
This role is designed to develop an Industrial Engineer, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive efficiency, continuous improvement, and innovation. The position focuses on four key areas: Project Management, Continuous Improvement, Data Analytics, and Innovation. It provides hands-on exposure to business-critical processes and builds a solid foundation in operational excellence and process engineering.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Management
- Assist with planning, coordinating, and executing projects across multiple departments.
- Track milestones, risks, and deliverables to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope.
- Contribute to documentation, reporting, and post-project reviews.
2. Continuous Improvement (Kaizen)
- Participate in Kaizen workshops and improvement initiatives.
- Map processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend improvements to reduce waste and enhance value.
- Monitor outcomes of improvement projects and ensure compliance with new processes.
3. Data Analytics
- Gather, clean, and analyze operational and business data to generate actionable insights.
- Assist with the development of dashboards, reports, and KPIs to support decision-making.
- Collaborate with BI and data teams to leverage analytics in process optimization.
4. Innovation & Process Engineering
- Research and test new tools, technologies, and methods to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Support pilot projects and proof-of-concept initiatives.
- Contribute innovative ideas to support automation, digital transformation, and business growth.
Minimum Requirements
Education
- Mandatory: BSc/BEng in Industrial Engineering (or equivalent).
- Preferred: Training or certification in Lean Six Sigma, Project Management, or Data Analytics.
Experience
- Recent graduate or up to 1 year of relevant internship/graduate program experience.
- Exposure to data analysis tools such as Excel, Power BI, SQL, or Python will be an advantage.
- Participation in academic or practical projects focused on process improvement is beneficial.
