Industrial Engineer

About the position

This is a Supply Chain demand planning and continuous improvement role.

Reporting to the Supply Chain Continous improvement manager,

You will Support central supply planning functions for customer and note to ensure optimal supply meets demand requirements. To contribute in continuous improvement projects, ensuring the delivery of process innovation and continuous improvement initiatives.

Duties and Responsibilites:

• Analysis, reports and statistics for all stock movements and inventory
• Monitor trends, variances and escalate discrepancies.
• Track customer KPI's, attend industry meetings
• Support continuous improvement projects
• Inventory Planning and forecasting
• Resolve operational queries

Minimum Requirements: Qualification & experience:

• B Eng Industrial Engineering (Hons) / Bsc Analytical / BSc Maths or Statistics non negotiable .
• Plus a minimum of 12 month experience in supply chain consulting (eg Imperial, Resolve, Deloittes, EY, MAC Consulting) and continuous improvment environment
• Planning , optimisation and continuous improvement in a manufacturing or supply chain environment
• 1 year continuous improvement
• 2 years supply chain consulting or project environment
• Passion and expertise in data analytics and stats
• Experience with ERP/Planning/Planning systems
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office suite, Qlickview and Tableau

HYBRID ROLE: work from home alhtough you will be required to attend ad hoc meetings once a month or so in the office. Ideal location Gauteng
