About the position

AI Specialist - Industrial Engineer

This role is critical in identifying, developing, and deploying AI-driven solutions that improve operational efficiency, inventory management, demand forecasting, and overall supply chain performance. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical AI/ML expertise with a practical understanding of warehousing operations, and have a passion for solving complex, real-world problems through data and automation.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, AI/ML
• 3+ years of experience in AI/ML within a warehousing, logistics
• Strong programming skills in Python or R
• Familiarity with data pipelines, SQL, APIs, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP software, and IoT

Key Responsibilities:

• AI Strategy & Implementation: Design and implement AI/ML solutions tailored to warehouse operations
• Data Analytics & Model Development: Collect, clean, and analyse large volumes of operational data from WMS, ERP, IoT devices
• System Integration & Testing: Work with IT and software teams to integrate AI tools into the existing warehouse management systems (WMS) and logistics platforms.
