RequirementsKey Responsibilities
Process Optimisation
- Analyse existing operational processes to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
- Design and implement scalable process improvements to optimise productivity, throughput, quality, and cost.
- Apply Industrial Engineering principles and continuous improvement methodologies to drive operational excellence.
- Conduct process mapping, gap analysis, and future-state process design.
Data Analysis & Operational Insights
- Analyse operational data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and performance opportunities.
- Develop analytical models, forecasts, and simulations to support business planning.
- Translate complex data into practical recommendations for stakeholders.
- Monitor operational performance and identify continuous improvement initiatives.
Capacity Planning & Resource Optimisation
- Support workforce planning and capacity modelling activities.
- Evaluate demand versus capacity scenarios and recommend optimal operational solutions.
- Balance customer service, operational efficiency, and cost objectives.
Fulfilment Infrastructure & Project Delivery
- Support the design and optimisation of fulfilment facilities and infrastructure layouts.
- Assist with infrastructure feasibility assessments and implementation planning.
- Coordinate infrastructure projects with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
- Support operational teams through implementation, go-live, and stabilisation phases.
- Monitor project progress, timelines, costs, and successful delivery.
Systems Integration
- Support the integration of operational systems and business processes.
- Collaborate on ERP, WMS and OMS process alignment initiatives.
- Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT), process documentation, and system improvements.
- Ensure operational processes align with enabling technologies.
Stakeholder Management
- Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Technology and Business stakeholders to understand operational requirements.
- Present findings, recommendations and improvement initiatives to various business teams.
- Promote a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement across the organisation.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in:
- Process Optimisation
- Operations Analysis
- Continuous Improvement
- Industrial Engineering
- Experience within Retail, Supply Chain, Logistics or Distribution environments will be highly advantageous.
- Exposure to:
- Microsoft Excel
- Power BI
- SQL (or similar analytical tools)
- Strong understanding of end-to-end operational and fulfilment processes.
