About the position

  • Determine client’s requirements for new designs.
  • Determine client’s requirements for design improvements.
  • Identify and report on global and local market trends.
  • Use computer software to develop virtual models of different designs.
  • Assist team with creating physical prototypes of their designs.
  • Assisting with the roll out of new product and designs to the factory floor.
  • Setting up of display cabinets and display areas for customers to view new designs.
  • Examine materials and manufacturing requirements to determine production costs.
  • Evaluate product safety, appearance, and function to determine if a design is Practical.
  • Present designs and demonstrate prototypes to clients for approval.
  • Ensure all designs meet requirements set out in Standards such as ISO 23953, ISO 17025 and ISO 9001.

Experience with AutoCad, AutoDesk, Inventor Min 4 years' experience with relevant qualification
