About the position
Senior Industrial Automation Engineer
A leading automation solutions provider is seeking a Senior Industrial Automation Engineer with 7+ years’ experience to lead the design, programming, integration, and commissioning of industrial automation systems. The role requires strong capability in PLC/DCS/SCADA architecture and development (Siemens TIA Portal and/or PCS 7 or equivalent), FAT/SAT execution, and site commissioning across multi-sector industrial environments. The successful candidate will provide technical leadership, enforce software management of change, drive process and energy optimisation, mentor engineers, and support presales and client engagement activities. The role also includes compliance with ISO and functional safety standards, project governance, and participation in a rotational standby schedule.
Requirements:
- BEng / BTech in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechatronic Engineering
- 7+ years industrial automation experience
- Siemens PLC/SCADA/DCS experience (or equivalent)
- Industrial networking and functional safety knowledge
- Leadership or mentorship experience
- Willingness to travel and participate in standby support
