You will take ownership your own client portfolio and will be responsibilities will include managing their tax compliance requirements from start to finish while building and maintaining a trusted relationship and delivering exceptional client service. You will be exposed to specialist areas such as expatriate taxation, tax residency matters, tax clearance applications, and complex compliance issues. You will be able to gain valuable insight by working with experienced tax professionals with the opportunity to deepen your technical knowledge. Where you'll be doing it This opportunity is within the tax division of a leading international professional services firm. Our client is one of the largest networks of independent audit, tax, and consulting firms, with a global team of over 55 000 people. You will be joining a professional, high performing team with a reputation for technical excellence, client service and collaboration. While our client has 500 offices across 120 countries, you will be based at their Johannesburg office from Monday - Friday 08:00 - 17:00. What you'll need National Senior Certificate, a Tax specific diploma or certificate with at least 5 years' experience in individual tax compliance. You require a solid understanding of SARS processes and legislation, with the ability to prepare and submit individual and provisional tax returns, review assessments, and engage with SARS on queries, disputes and appeals. Experience in taxation of outbound and inbound expatriates is required, while experience in taxation of deceased estates would be advantageous. You will need true passion for taxation and taxation related matters with the ability to work under pressure while paying attention to small details. You will need to be highly organised with the ability to complete deadlines and achieve KPI's and will be comfortable with working independently as well as collaborating within the team.
