Are you a meticulous number cruncher with a passion for independent reviews and financial reporting? Ready to step into a role where your technical skills and attention to detail will be highly valued? We’re looking for a motivated, experienced Independent Reviewer to join a dynamic team that thrives on professionalism and precision.
As an Independent Reviewer, you’ll play a key role in reviewing and compiling financial statements for a diverse range of entities, including individuals, trusts, close corporations, and companies. Your day-to-day will include:

• Performing independent reviews for companies not requiring audits
• Compiling high-quality financial statements using Caseware
• Providing accounting assistance and preparing working paper files
• Resolving queries, passing final entries, and preparing tax computations
• Processing and reconciling annual transactions from source documents
• Collaborating closely with clients, supervisors, and partners
• Ensuring targets are met through budget preparation and control

We’re looking for someone who brings both expertise and a proactive approach to problem-solving. To thrive in this role, you should have:

• A B.Com in Accounting or related financial qualification
• Membership with SAIPA / SAICA (essential)
• 1–2 years post-articles experience in accounting or auditing
• Solid independent review experience
• Caseware proficiency (including CaseView) and strong Excel & Pastel skills
• Strong knowledge of IFRS for SMEs
• Proven ability to calculate income and deferred tax across various entity types
• Confidence to operate independently with minimal guidance
