About the position
Our client, a mining company with offices in Rosebank, Johannesburg, is currently looking to engage with Inclusive Procurement Advisor/ Support for a fixed-term contract of 12 months.
In this role, you will provide operational and analytical support to the Inclusive Procurement (IP) function and broader supply chain strategic initiatives, ensuring effective integration of IP requirements into sourcing processes, accurate data management, and tracking of commitments and performance.
Minimum Requirements:
- Relevant Degree
- 3 - 7 years' experience in an Inclusive Procurement Support function, within the mining sector
- Experience in supply chain, inclusive procurement, sustainability (preferably with exposure to Supplier Diversity/transformation).
- Knowledge of BBBEE regulations
- Strong analytical and data management skills (Excel, reporting tools).
- Understanding of sourcing/RFX processes and supply chain
- Good stakeholder engagement and communication
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple data
- Own laptop
- Valid driver's license
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the integration of Inclusive Procurement requirements into RFX (Request for X) processes, including preparation of IP criteria, evaluation inputs, and supplier
- Maintain and manage Inclusive Procurement data, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and alignment with reporting
- Compile and support periodic IP reporting (internal and external), including dashboards, metrics, and performance
- Track and monitor Inclusive Procurement commitments, targets, and supplier deliverables, highlighting risks and
- Assist in supplier onboarding and compliance verification related to Inclusive Procurement
- Support supply chain initiatives, including supplier development, localization, sustainability programmes, and continuous improvement projects aligned to procurement and business objectives.
- Collaborate with sourcing teams and stakeholders to ensure consistent application of IP standards across procurement and broader supply chain activities.
- Support process improvements, documentation, and data quality initiatives within the supply chain and IP
