About the position

DBN000081 - INBOUND CUSTOMER SERVICE AGENT– DURBAN SOUTH

Job purpose:
To manage all costing of all groupage accounts.
 
 
Required Qualifications

  • Matric
  • Maritime certificate or related qualification.
  • Experience in the shipping industry

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Ability to process invoices within 24 hours of receipt and send proof of payment to the party involved
  • Ability to process SARS via EDI within the deadline
  • Meet monthly budget (Volume and Revenue).
  • Knowledge of how to prepare Costing (including Ensuring that origin billing/invoicing is correct, follow up for amending invoices with the correct charges.)
  • Experience monitoring container release statuses on NAVIS
  • Experience arranging/handing over trem cards/haz declarations to ICS for hazardous cargo
