Inbound and Outbound Pallet Controller

About the position

A well-established manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Inbound & Outbound Pallet Controller to manage and control pallet movements, reconcile pallet accounts, and minimize pallet losses. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate pallet records, managing pallet recoveries, and ensuring effective pallet control across warehouse and customer operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Control and manage pallet movements internally and externally.
• Capture and reconcile daily pallet movements to and from customers and depots.
• Maintain accurate pallet records and documentation.
• Reconcile pallet counts and costs on a weekly and monthly basis.
• Investigate and resolve pallet variances and outstanding queries.
• Manage pallet recoveries from customers.
• Raise queries relating to incorrect pallet charges.
• Conduct daily reconciliations of physical pallets, pallets in transit, and pallets received.
• Perform weekly pallet stocktakes and present reconciliation reports to management.
• Ensure all pallet-related documentation is verified, updated, and distributed timeously.
• Liaise with customers regarding pallet recoveries and account queries.
• Monitor pallet accounts to minimize losses and unnecessary costs.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 / Matric.
• Minimum 4 years' experience in a manufacturing, FMCG, or warehouse environment.
• Experience with pallet control, stock control, inventory management, or warehouse administration.
• Experience working with high-volume operations.
• Sage experience will be advantageous.
• Strong reconciliation and reporting skills.
• Good understanding of warehouse processes and inventory controls.
