Imports Co-ordinator

About the position

A leading supplier of specialized products to automotive, manufacturing, creative, packaging and retail industries is looking for an experienced individual to join their team and oversee the imports/shipment function within the business



Requirements:

• Grade 12
• 3-5yrs experience in imports/shipping in a similar industry is required
• Advanced Excel skills
• Pastel literate
• Valid Drivers License with own transport

Responsibilities:

• Updating of shipment reports on Pastel and exporting to Excel
• Daily shipment updates
• Purchase orders on Pastel and liaising with overseas suppliers
• Liaising with Investec importers daily
• Shipment payment schedule
• Sales and quotes - taking orders and invoicing on Pastel
• Updating Debtors report daily
• Dealing with customer queries
• Monthly stock takes on Pastel for JHB and Gqeberha
• General admin duties - booking couriers, purchasing of office supplies etc.
• Petty cash recon
• Petrol account recon
• Creating new stock codes, opening of new suppliers and customer accounts on Pastel
