About the position
Our client based in Rivonia, Gauteng is seeking an Implementation Manager to oversee and coordinate the various teams responsible for the effective deployment of the company's bespoke shop floor automation solutions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Strategic Implementation Oversight:
- Direct overall strategy and execution of software implementation projects, ensuring alignment with business and client needs.
- Team Leadership & Management: Lead the Solutions, Configuration, Project Management, and Support teams, fostering a skilled and efficient team environment.
- Client Relationship Management: Serve as a primary contact for clients, managing expectations and ensuring satisfaction throughout the implementation process.
- Quality Assurance & Compliance: Develop and establish quality standards and benchmarks.
- Implement systems, processes, and procedures to achieve and maintain these standards.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance.
- Identify and implement improvements in quality and compliance.
- Process Optimization & Efficiency: Continuously improve internal processes for better efficiency and effectiveness in project delivery.
- Budget and Resource Management: Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation, ensuring optimal use of resources.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Liaise with different departments, including sales, product development, and HR, aligning implementation activities with broader company goals.
- Feedback & Product Development Contribution: Provide feedback to the product development team and assist in new software version rollouts.
- Training & Development: Oversee training and skill enhancement of team members, ensuring continuous learning.
- Reporting & Analytics: Regularly report on project progress and outcomes to senior management, utilizing data for strategic decision-making.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
- Extensive experience in software implementation, team leadership, and process improvement.
- Proven ability in strategic planning, project management, and talent development.
- Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
