About the position

Role Overview
The Implementation /Integration Engineer at our dynamic, high-paced AI start-up will serve as the crucial bridge between our cutting-edge generative AI applications and diverse customer environments. This role demands exceptional adaptability, technical versatility, and problem-solving abilities in a pressure-loaded start-up environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Technical Investigation & Integration Strategy

  • Rapidly master unfamiliar customer platforms (Salesforce, Oracle, WordPress, etc.) under tight timelines
  • Research, test, and evaluate integration options including APIs, plugins, and native solutions
  • Develop rapid prototypes and proof-of-concept implementations to validate technical approaches
  • Produce detailed feasibility assessments with clear technical recommendations and risk analyses

Implementation & Deployment

  • Execute end-to-end technical implementations of our AI solutions across diverse customer environments
  • Configure complex integrations including authentication systems (Auth0, Azure AD), database synchronization, and API connections
  • Set up and optimize customer-specific configurations including user management, database indexes, and platform variables
  • Perform thorough testing and troubleshooting under pressure to ensure seamless deployments

Technical Documentation & Communication

  • Create comprehensive technical specifications, implementation guides, and Statements of Work
  • Document customer-specific configurations, processes, and ongoing technical requirements
  • Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Work collaboratively with developers, project managers, and business teams in a fast-paced environment

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking
  • Experience with or aptitude for database management and SQL
  • Knowledge of programming/scripting fundamentals (specific languages less important than conceptual understanding)
  • Outstanding technical writing and communication skills
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and manage competing priorities in a startup environment

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Experience with cloud technologies (Azure, AWS) and authentication systems (Auth0, Azure)
  • Familiarity with common CMS platforms (WordPress, Shopify) and enterprise systems (Salesforce, Oracle)
  • Understanding of API integration patterns and web technologies
  • Experience with PostgreSQL or similar database systems
  • Project management experience or certification
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new technical platforms and systems
