Implementation Consultant - Payment Specialist - Permanent

About the position

Key responsibilities:

• Implement and configure payment modules for clients, ensuring seamless integration with their ERP systems
• Manage the entire implementation lifecycle, from project planning and requirements gathering to configuration, testing, and deployment
• Collaborate with clients to understand their payment processes and requirements, and provide tailored solutions to meet their needs
• Provide training and support to clients on the use of payment modules, ensuring they are able to maximize the benefits of the system
• Work closely with internal teams, including sales, product development, and support, to ensure successful project delivery
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and provide feedback to the product development team to help shape the future direction of payment modules

Requirements:

• Degree in finance, accounting, computer science, industrial engineering or a related field
• At least 2 years of experience in payment implementations within an ERP / TMS system
• Solid understanding of financial risk management, including cash management, payments, and foreign exchange
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and internal teams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience with project management methodologies and tools
• Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements in South Africa
