We are looking for an IFMS Engineer to join a dynamic operations environment and play a key role in ensuring the safe, reliable and efficient operation of electrical systems, engineering equipment and facility services.
This is an opportunity for an experienced engineering professional to take ownership of critical technical operations, work on improvement projects and collaborate with internal teams, contractors and external service providers.

What you’ll be responsible for:
- Ensure the safe and reliable operation and maintenance of electrical equipment and engineering systems
- Plan, coordinate and supervise preventative and corrective maintenance activities
- Oversee outsourced facility and soft services, including cleaning, waste management, pest control and garden services
- Ensure contractors comply with safety requirements, quality standards and company procedures
- Develop and maintain effective electrical maintenance plans and ensure accurate maintenance records
- Identify opportunities to improve equipment efficiency, reliability and resource utilisation
- Support electrical engineering projects, equipment upgrades and new installations
- Work closely with suppliers, contractors and project teams to ensure successful project execution
- Monitor and analyse maintenance and facility management costs
- Assist with annual budgets and identify opportunities for cost savings and productivity improvements
- Investigate electrical failures and breakdowns and ensure appropriate corrective actions are implemented
- Stay up to date with new engineering technologies and identify opportunities to introduce improvements
- Support the maintenance and improvement of Building Management Systems
- Coordinate inspections, testing and compliance requirements for electrical systems and emergency equipment
- Supervise and support internal and outsourced personnel, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to the required standard
- Promote a strong culture of safety, quality, continuous improvement and operational excellence
What we’re looking for:
- Degree or Diploma in Engineering, such as Electrical, Mechanical, Civil or Chemical Engineering
- Additional education or experience in electrical systems, utilities or facility management will be advantageous
- Proven experience within an engineering, industrial, manufacturing or facilities environment
- Experience in safety management and compliance
- Strong understanding of electrical equipment, maintenance and engineering systems
- Experience managing contractors or outsourced service providers
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to prioritise competing demands and manage multiple projects
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
