ICT Technician: Networks (LAN)

We are seeking an exceptional ICT Technician: Networks (LAN), passionate about keeping networks running seamlessly, to join one of South Africa's leading public development institutions, responsible for driving social transformation and sustainable community development across the country.

What You Will Do:

• Install, configure and maintain LAN infrastructure (switches, routers, wireless access points).
• Monitor network performance, security and connectivity.
• Support VoIP telephony and mobile data systems.
• Troubleshoot LAN issues and ensure network reliability.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with ICT policies.

What You Should Have:

• National Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Science or related field.
• CompTIA N+ certification (essential).
• ITIL Foundation and/or Cloud+ certification (advantageous).
• 1+ year of LAN administration and support experience.
• Knowledge of Ethernet, VLANs, VPNs, QoS, routers, firewalls, and VoIP technologies.
