About the position
An established South African hygiene and industrial cleaning solutions business is appointing a Hygiene Consultant to its East London office, to grow and service its customer base across the Eastern Cape. This is a combination role. You will win new business and you will look after the accounts you win, so the relationship does not get handed to someone else once the contract is signed. The territory is yours to run: a planned service cycle on existing clients, hygiene audits and the corrective plans that come out of them, on-site training for client staff on the systems and products supplied, and the contract paperwork that goes with all of it - hygiene files, tank manuals, tank agreements and free-on-loan agreements. You will need experience in hygiene, chemical, cleaning or industrial consumables sales and service, or a comparable technical field-based role, and you will need to be comfortable doing both halves of the job rather than one. A valid driver's licence is essential. You work from the East London office, with a pool vehicle provided for client visits across the territory. he package is R20 000 to R25 000 a month, total cost to company, including provident fund and medical aid. There is no commission on this role.
