About the position

Role Purpose
The Cleaning / Hygiene Sales Executive is responsible for driving revenue growth through the acquisition of new business and the expansion of existing client relationships within the commercial cleaning and hygiene solutions market.
The role focuses on consultative selling, identifying client hygiene needs, proposing tailored service solutions, and ensuring long-term customer satisfaction through professional account management and service excellence.

Key Performance Objectives
The incumbent will contribute to business growth aligned with sales budgets and strategic objectives through:
Business Development

  • Identify and secure new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, cold calling, referrals, and market research.
  • Develop and maintain a structured sales pipeline aligned with KPI targets.
  • Conduct site assessments to identify client cleaning and hygiene requirements.
  • Build long-term relationships with prospective clients to secure future business.

Account Management

  • Maintain and grow existing customer accounts.
  • Conduct regular client visits to ensure service satisfaction and identify upselling opportunities.
  • Ensure after-sales service delivery meets or exceeds client expectations.
  • Act as primary point of contact between clients and operations teams.

Quotations & Tender Management

  • Prepare accurate quotations aligned with approved pricing models.
  • Ensure all quotations comply with company standards and authorization requirements.
  • Source, compile, and submit tenders within required deadlines.
  • Ensure all statutory and compliance documentation is current prior to submission.

Sales Presentations

  • Develop tailored sales presentations aligned with client business needs.
  • Deliver professional presentations to decision-makers and procurement stakeholders.
  • Clearly communicate value propositions and service differentiation.

Reporting & Administration

  • Maintain accurate sales records, CRM updates, and pipeline tracking.
  • Provide management with regular updates on:
  • Sales performance vs targets
  • Active opportunities
  • Quotations in market
  • Forecasted revenue
  • Monitor quote viability and conversion performance.

Other Responsibilities

  • Work additional hours when required to support business operations, client meetings, or tenders.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
  • Execute all reasonable instructions issued by Management.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Matric (Grade 12)
  • Relevant Sales, Business, Marketing, or Facilities Management qualification advantageous
  • Valid unendorsed driver's licence
  • Own reliable vehicle preferred

Minimum Experience

  • Minimum 2 years proven sales experience, preferably within one or more of the following industries:
  • Cleaning services
  • Hygiene or sanitation solutions
  • Facilities management
  • Washroom services
  • Chemical or consumables sales
  • B2B service sales environment

Working Hours:
07h30 - 16h30 | Monday to Friday
Additional hours may be required based on operational or client requirements.

Success Indicators

  • Achievement of monthly and annual sales targets
  • Growth of new business revenue
  • Client retention and satisfaction levels
  • Conversion ratio of quotations and tenders
  • Development of sustainable long-term client relationships

Remuneration:

  • Salary - R20,000.00
  • Excellent commission (Commission schedule supplied)
