Location: Pretoria (South Africa) Only Apply if you are based in Pretoria and available to start immediately.
Reporting to: Assistant Director: HRSM
To provide efficient and effective human resource management services within the department, ensuring compliance with HR policies, legislation, and best practices in recruitment, employee relations, and service benefits.
Prepare and manage advertisements, interview schedules, and serve as secretariat during interviews.
Process appointments, transfers, terminations, and maintain accurate HR records.
Administer conditions of service and employee benefits (housing, medical aid, pension, allowances, etc.).
Handle leave administration, resolve HR-related queries, and compile monthly HR reports.
Provide HR advisory and consultation services to employees and management.
Contribute to policy development and review, ensuring compliance with the Public Service Regulations and PFMA.
Facilitate induction programmes and oversee logistical arrangements for new employees.
A National Diploma or Degree (NQF Level 6) in:
Human Resources Management, Human Resource Development, Industrial Psychology, Public Management/Administration, Labour Relations, Social Sciences, Management Services, or related field.
Minimum 1 year experience in Human Resources Management or related field.
Knowledge of:
PERSAL system (advantageous)
Public Service Regulations and PFMA
HR processes, policies, and procedures
DPSA directives and PSCBC resolutions
Desired Skills:
