Job Title: Human Resources Administrator
Job Summary:
We are looking for a young, detail-oriented and proactive Human Resources Administrator with 2–5 years of HR administrative experience, strong knowledge of BBBEE, POPI Act, WCA, and UIF processes, and proficiency in HRIS and MS Office. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with HR regulations, maintain accurate employee records, and support a wide range of HR functions while working independently and collaboratively within a dynamic team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update employee records and HR databases with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
- Manage WCA and UIF submissions, ensuring timely and compliant reporting.
- Assist with BBBEE compliance initiatives and monitor adherence to related strategies.
- Ensure all HR data and processes comply with the POPI Act.
- Coordinate employee benefits, leave administration, and related queries.
- Prepare HR reports and documentation for audits and compliance reviews.
- Provide general administrative support to the HR department.
- Contribute to HR projects and initiatives as needed.
Requirements:
- 2–5 years of experience in HR administration or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of BBBEE, POPI Act, WCA, and UIF processes.
- Excellent organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
- High level of confidentiality, professionalism, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and HRIS systems.
Qualifications:
- HR-related diploma or degree.
- Experience in a compliance-focused HR environment.
- Familiarity with South African labour laws and regulations.
