About the position

The Human Capital and Transformation Practitioner provides an integrated coordination and operational support to both Human Capital and Transformation functions. The role will support the effective delivery of human capital and transformation processes. This role will further provide strong and high-quality administrative support, enabling the effective execution of the Company's Human Capital and Transformation strategy.

Human Capital Management

  • Administers and supports all Human Capital processes and policies.
  • Maintaining and updating the Human Capital document system and employee information on SAGE/ESS.
  • Provides operational administration and support to the Human Capital department.
Industrial Relations
  • Provides administrative support to the HC Manager in the resolution of IR matters including the drafting of letters, document storage and minute taking.
Policy and Compliance
  • Supports the HC Manager to ensure legal compliance in all HC programs that must be implemented and reported against to minimise people risk and to ensure consistent people practices across the organisation.
Recruitment and Selection
  • Supports HC Manager in the end-to-end facilitation of a fair and effective recruitment process which includes: sourcing, screening, interview scheduling, background checks and offer drafting.
Performance Management
  • Supports the performance management system in the implementation of performance management and improvement plans.
Organisation Design
  • Support the HC Manager in the maintenance and upkeep of the Org structure and role profile library.
Organisational Effectiveness and Employee Wellbeing
  • Coordinates the implementation of the Employee Wellness Policy and initiatives including arranging annual wellness day and facilitating the Company's EAP.
Employee Onboarding and Offboarding
  • Coordinates all pre-employment documentation, probation activities and stakeholder communication to ensure new employees are fully operational.
  • Ensures a structured and compliant employee exit process.
  • Coordinates the bi-annual induction programme.
Transformation Management
  • Provides end to end support to the Transformation Consultant in the delivery of the approved B-BBEE strategy which includes administrative assistance on all pillars of the B-BBEE scorecard.

  • Supports business in the implementation of internal training by drafting annual training plan, liaising with training providers, coordinate training sessions and monitoring the effectiveness of training provided.
  • Supports the facilitation of bursaries, internships, learnership and graduate programme.
Enterprise and supplier development
  • Implement ESD initiatives in line with strategy which includes identifying and supporting beneficiaries, implementing the initiatives, reporting on impact and tracking spend.
Socio Economic Development
  • Support Transformation Consultant in managing the Company Foundation, its stakeholders and relevant initiatives in line with the approved strategy.
Reporting
  • Assist with external compliance reports including EE and WSP reports.
  • Provide HC and Transformation related data for monthly Exco and quarterly TSE reports.
  • Provide input into the Group Integrated Report.
  • Support the annual BBBEE verification and audit process.
  • Liaise with Marketing team on the branding of all HC & Transformation related initiatives.
Risk Management
  • Ensures compliance with relevant Legislation and Regulations.
  • Controls, manages and governs the processes and systems within area of accountability to ensure compliance and minimise the business risk.
  • Implements all audit recommendations in area of accountability and resolve audit findings timeously.
  • Supports the HC and Transformation function with budget management and invoice processing.

Requirements
  • National Diploma or Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration related
  • 3 to 5 years HR generalist experience.
  • 3 to 5 years experience and knowledge in transformation and B-BBEE .
  • Previous B-BBEE audit experience preferred.
  • Experience within listed real estate will be advantageous.
  • Transformation support – these are absolute must haves: BBBEE verification process, WSP &ATR submissions, CSI projects.
