About the position
Conduct site visits to verify HSE compliance for cranes, riggers, operators, and trucks.
Complete daily checklists and registers for cranes, rotating through different sites each day.
Prepare weekly reports detailing activities and any non-conformances observed at the sites.
Perform site surveys in collaboration with representatives.
Execute monthly reviews of documentation and compliance files.
Ensure warehouse compliance with fire safety equipment.
Review and implement emergency procedures effectively.
Maintain updated evacuation layouts for safety protocols.
Create wash bay and spray booth operational procedures.
Keep hard copies of HSE FILES current and accessible.

SFG is a personnel support company that was incorporated in 2003 as a BEE company. It commenced trading on the 1st March 2004 and became the sole trading arm of three companies namely SFG Engineering Services (Pty) Limited (SFG Engineering Holdings (Pty) Ltd.), Dunmech Engineering Services (Pty) Limited and Saldanha Sea View Engineering Services (Pty) Limited Cape Town Branch. The amalgamation of the three companies was a logical business decision, as all the companies had a common Shareholder in Duncan Macnab who has been in the personnel business in the Cape Town and West Africa area for the past 20 years. The amalgamation of these organisations has led to a much stronger and more efficient company. Anthea Smitsdorff a long serving member of staff became a shareholder and director of the company.SFG Engineering Services prides itself as a proudly South African company committed to growth and development within our industry. Our current Level 4 BEE rating is a reflection of this commitment.
Services Provided
SFG provides a wide range of skilled and specialised experienced personnel in all aspects of the marine, industrial,mining and petrochemical fields. Placements are usually contract based but we are able to secure suitable permanent placements should it be required. The company is highly flexible and geared to handle orders from as little as one person to teams of 400 plus if so required.
