Our client is a leading manufacturing organization seeking an experienced HSE Manager to oversee all Health, Safety, and Environmental functions across multiple manufacturing facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving compliance, managing risk, maintaining ISO standards, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and zero harm
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and maintain compliance with all applicable Health, Safety, Environmental, and regulatory requirements, including OHS Act, NEMA, and ISO management systems.
- Manage risk assessments, incident investigations, audits, contractor compliance, emergency preparedness, occupational hygiene, and safety improvement initiatives across multiple sites.
- Drive a proactive safety culture through training, coaching, reporting, continuous improvement programs, and stakeholder engagement.
Minimum Requirements
- National Diploma in Safety Management, Health Management, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years' relevant HSE management experience within a manufacturing environment.
- SAMTRAC and/or NEBOSH IGC certification.
- HIRA and Legal Liability certification.
- ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 Management System experience.
- Strong incident investigation and root cause analysis experience.
- Exceptional knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and relevant environmental legislation.
- Experience managing HSE across multiple sites.
- Valid driver's licence.
