We are seeking an experienced and commercially astute HR Total Rewards Senior Consultant to join a dynamic global Total Rewards team on a 6-month contract. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work across Africa and the Middle East, partnering with key stakeholders to drive impactful compensation and rewards strategies.
About the Role
As a key link between the Total Rewards Centre of Excellence and business stakeholders, you will provide expert guidance on compensation and benefits. You will collaborate closely with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Finance, and leadership teams to ensure reward strategies are aligned with organisational goals.
This is a high-impact, consultative role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced, multinational environment and can translate complex compensation concepts into clear, actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted advisor on all Total Rewards matters across the region
- Provide expert consultation on compensation frameworks, policies, and practices
- Support market pricing, salary benchmarking, and structure design
- Contribute to incentive plan design and pay equity analysis
- Partner with HR, Finance, and business leaders to align rewards strategies with business objectives
- Analyse and interpret data to support decision-making and recommendations
- Ensure effective communication and implementation of reward programmes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field
- 5–10 years’ experience in Compensation, Total Rewards, or a similar HR function
- Strong expertise in:
- Market pricing and salary structures
- Incentive schemes
- Pay equity and benchmarking
- Proven ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership
- Advanced analytical skills with strong Excel proficiency
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Experience working in a multinational environment, ideally covering Africa and/or the Middle East
- Exposure to HRIS systems such as Workday or SAP SuccessFactors (preferred)
- CCP (Certified Compensation Professional) certification advantageous
