About the position

A Well known FMCG company is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented HR Time and Attendance Data Analyst to join our HR team. The above mentioned will be responsible for analysing and maintaining employee attendance data to ensure compliance with company policies, labour laws, and regulatory standards. Working closely with HR and payroll teams to provide insights, recommendations, and improve attendance-related processes. Responsibilities:

Data Management and Reporting:
Collect, analyse, and maintain employee time and attendance data.
Create regular and ad-hoc reports on employee attendance trends, overtime, absenteeism, and punctuality.
Ensure accurate data entry and timely updates to the time and attendance system.
Maintain data integrity and consistency across HR and payroll systems.
Compliance and Accuracy:
Ensure compliance with local labour laws, as well as company policies.
Monitor attendance records for inconsistencies or discrepancies and work to resolve them promptly.
Collaborate with HR and payroll teams to ensure accurate employee pay and benefit calculations based on attendance records.
Trend Analysis and Insights:
Analyse attendance patterns to identify trends, recurring issues, and areas for improvement.
Provide actionable insights to management on ways to optimize attendance, reduce absenteeism, and improve workforce efficiency.
Conduct data analysis to support decision-making processes in workforce planning and resource allocation.
Process Improvement:
Collaborate with HR and Production teams to streamline and improve attendance tracking processes.
Identify opportunities for system enhancements or automation to improve data collection and reporting accuracy.
Recommend strategies to improve employee attendance and minimize disruptions.
Stakeholder Communication and Support:
Provide support to managers and employees on attendance-related inquiries or issues.
Work with HR partners to implement attendance-related policies and procedures.
Provide regular updates to HR and management teams regarding attendance data, trends, and any areas of concern.
Training and Development:
Assist in training managers and employees on time and attendance system usage and best practices.
Help HR teams stay informed about any updates or changes to attendance policies or systems.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
2+ years of experience in HR data analysis, time and attendance management, or payroll processing.
Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and time and attendance software (ERS).
Strong analytical skills and experience working with large datasets.
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas).
Knowledge of labour laws and compliance requirements related to time and attendance.
Attention to detail and accuracy in handling sensitive employee data.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Experience with data visualization tools to present trends and insights.
Certification in HR analytics or related fields.
Knowledge of payroll processing systems and integration with attendance data.
