Overview
The incumbent will be accountable for project managing the human capital and people strategy across the clients businesses. The individual will play a crucial role in driving the company culture set by the board and ensuring it is deeply embedded within the company and its divisions. They will be responsible for supporting the business to achieve its strategies and growth ambitions by embedding this company culture in order to attract and retain the correct talent their company.
Key Responsibilities
Utilize project management skills to:
Provide direction and leadership to the human capital team and enable knowledge sharing across the human capital and payroll function
Manage all elements of the employee life cycle, from talent identification, recruitment, and onboarding to the end of the employment relationship
Provide people and human capital data to business leaders to enable strategic decision-making
Partner with the business to build organization-wide capabilities for the future
Set a robust medium to long-term recruitment, graduate development, and internship strategy
Lift the brand and company culture as part of the recruitment strategy
Provide input on setting incentive structures
Collaborate with the Finance department on matters of employee compensation, despite Payroll being housed in Finance.
Manage internal and external HR Business Partner relations.
Manage the relationship with external parties such as LabourNet and the Department of Labour.
Drive the company culture set by the board and ensure it is deeply embedded within the company and its divisions. This includes indoctrinating the culture so that employees start living it.
Lead and manage human capital projects to ensure timely and successful delivery. This includes planning, executing, and overseeing projects related to talent management, employee engagement, and organizational development.

Required Minimum Qualifications, Experience, and Knowledge:
Required Qualification: Graduate degree, ideally in human sciences. A post-graduate degree would be preferable.
Experience:
Project Management - proven ability to lead and manage projects
3-5 years in middle management
Senior management experience and experience in leading a team would be advantageous.
Knowledge Required:
Human Capital best practice and policies
Knowledge of human capital legislation in order to guide processes, or when necessary, challenge outcomes from external parties.
An understanding of the healthcare and/or financial services industries would be advantageous.
