About the position

The applicant must be available to start immediately
Must have a minimum of 4 years HR Officer experience
Must have an HR Management Degree
Location: Chloorkop, Kempton Park

Roles and Responsibilities

  1. Recruitment and Staffing

  2. Coordinate and manage the end-to-end recruitment process (job postings, screening, interviews, onboarding).

  3. Maintain and update job descriptions and specifications.
  4. Liaise with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and ensure timely fulfillment.

  5. Employee Relations

  6. Serve as the first point of contact for employee queries and concerns.

  7. Assist in resolving workplace conflicts and grievances in line with company policies.
  8. Promote a positive work environment and employee engagement initiatives.

  9. HR Administration

  10. Maintain accurate employee records in HR systems and personnel files.

  11. Prepare HR-related reports (headcount, turnover, absenteeism).
  12. Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.

  13. Performance Management

  14. Support the implementation of performance appraisal systems.

  15. Assist managers in setting objectives and monitoring employee performance.
  16. Track and report on performance review cycles.

  17. Training and Development

  18. Identify training needs and coordinate learning programs.

  19. Maintain training records and evaluate effectiveness of programs.
  20. Support career development initiatives.

  21. Compensation and Benefits

  22. Administer payroll inputs and liaise with finance/payroll teams.

  23. Manage employee benefits programs and respond to related queries.
  24. Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (tax, pension, medical aid).

  25. Compliance and Policy

  26. Ensure adherence to labor legislation and internal HR policies.

  27. Assist in drafting and updating HR policies and procedures.
  28. Conduct audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

  29. Health, Safety, and Well-being

  30. Support health and safety initiatives in collaboration with relevant departments.

  31. Promote employee wellness programs and activities.
