HR Officer

About the position

HR Officer required at the Atlantis, Cape Town plant of a leading SA manufacturing concern.

Minimum Requirements
HR Qualification
2+ years' experience in HR, IR and training administration

Overview of position

• Create new employees files and update existing files
• Prepare and issue warnings, and disciplinary hearing notifications
• Liaise with union regarding all meetings, hearings and other IR/HR issues.
• Prepare and issue disciplinary hearing notifications.
• Chairing of Disciplinary Hearings if required.
• Advise employees and HOD's on all IR and HR policy and practices.
• Attend CCMA for Conciliations and Arbitrations for the company.
• Liaise with training providers.
• Prepare training schedules for staff and update training register.
• Present and conduct internal approved training.
• Preparation of WSP and ATR reports.
• Induction of new employees.
• IOD administration
• Prepare new employee packs (contracts, application forms and etc.)
• Update employee files.
• Ensuring that all appointment documents are timeously submitted to payroll.
• Monitoring of time and attendance.
