About the position
The Opportunity Most HR roles support the business. This one helps shape how it operates. Is this you? What you'll be doing (and why you'll enjoy it) Where you'll be doing it What you'll need What you'll get How to apply
You're a seasoned HR operations professional who enjoys taking ownership of complex people processes while balancing compliance, commercial priorities and employee experience. You build credibility through sound judgement, communicate confidently with senior stakeholders and adapt your approach across different cultures and personalities. Hands-on by nature, you don't mind rolling up your sleeves, but you're equally comfortable influencing decisions and navigating sensitive employment matters.
You'll oversee a broad HR operations portfolio supporting more than 1,000 employees across South Africa while working closely with local and international stakeholders. Your focus will include employment equity, BBBEE, Skills Development, statutory compliance, labour relations, disciplinary matters, CCMA cases, payroll coordination, onboarding, employee lifecycle management, HR reporting and governance. You'll also partner with IT, finance and external specialists to ensure efficient operations and legislative compliance. The variety, responsibility and opportunity to influence business decisions make this an exceptionally rewarding role.
Join a well-established international technology consulting business with an impressive employee retention record and a collaborative, respectful culture. Employees are trusted to take ownership, contribute ideas and work alongside experienced leaders in an environment where teamwork, accountability and professionalism are genuinely valued. You'll work from the Bryanston office while collaborating with colleagues across multiple international locations.
A relevant HR qualification together with around 12 years' experience. Previous exposure to IT consulting or IT services is strongly preferred, along with experience supporting multinational operations. You'll bring extensive knowledge of South African labour legislation, Employment Equity, BBBEE, Skills Development, employee relations, payroll coordination and HR compliance. Experience managing complex stakeholder relationships across different countries and time zones will set you apart.
An opportunity to take ownership of a critical HR operations function within a respected multinational organisation that values long-term careers, collaboration and trusted leadership. You'll enjoy meaningful responsibility, exposure to international stakeholders and the chance to make a measurable impact across a large workforce.
