About the position
Job Purpose
To provide expert support in the review, editing, and creation of job profiles across the organization, ensuring alignment with organizational design principles, job architecture principles and market best practice. This role contributes to the development of accurate, consistent, and fit-for-purpose job documentation that supports HR processes including recruitment, performance management, and remuneration.
Key Responsibilities
Job Profile Development & Review
- Provide end-to-end job profiling support.
- Collaborate with business units and HR partners to gather role-specific information.
- Develop, edit, and standardise job profiles in line with organisational templates and frameworks.
- Ensure job profiles reflect current responsibilities, required competencies and skills.
Quality Assurance & Governance
- Maintain consistency and compliance with job architecture and job family frameworks.
- Conduct audits of existing job profiles to identify gaps, overlaps, or misalignments.
- Support the governance process for job profile approval and version control.
- Analyse job profiling data and trends and provide regular progress updates and reports to management.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Facilitate workshops or interviews with line managers and subject matter experts to validate job profile contents.
- Provide guidance and support to HRBPs and line managers on job profiling standards and processes.
- Work collaboratively within and across teams to advise on integrated talent practice implications of OD and JA.
Data & Systems Management
- Ensure accurate capturing and storage of job profiles using the approved company templates.
- Continuous Improvement
- Monitor trends and best practices in job profiling and job architecture.
- Recommend improvements to job profiling tools, templates, and processes.
- Manage time and resources to complete work efficiently and on time by setting priorities, establishing timelines, and leveraging relevant resources.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, or related field.
- 5-8 years’ experience in HR, with a core focus on job profiling, job architecture and organisational design.
- Working knowledge and practical skills and experience in job design / job profiling.
- Proven track record in writing quality job profiles.
- Experience with job evaluation methodologies (e.g., Paterson, Hay, Mercer) is advantageous.
- Experience partnering successfully with stakeholders (i.e. Line and HR community)
- Experience working with different levels of leadership across an organisation.
- Strong understanding of competency frameworks, skills frameworks and HR systems.
- Skilled in coordinating and facilitating group discussions, workshops and design sessions
