About the position
Our client in the manufacturing industry is looking for a Site HR and IR Manager. This permanent position requires the incumbent to lead and manage all aspects of the Human Resources and Industrial Relations functions. This includes ensuring legal compliance, promoting fair labour practices, developing HR policies and procedures, and providing strategic HR support to the business. B Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, Labour Relations
Post graduate qualification or certifications in Labour Law/HR Management (advantage)
Minimum 5-8 years in a senior HR/IR role within a unionised environment
Strong experience in disciplinary processes, CCMA representation and union negotiations
In-depth knowledge of labour legislation
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong conflict resolution and negotiation abilities
High levels of confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism
Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office, advanced Excel
