About the position
Hire Resolve's client is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Coordinator to join their team in Limpopo, working specifically in the mining industry. As an HR Coordinator, you will play a critical role in supporting the HR department with various administrative tasks and processes.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with full-cycle recruitment, including job posting, resume screening, and interview coordination.
- Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, including paperwork, orientation, and training arrangements.
- Maintain employee records and HR databases, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
- Support benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and employee inquiries.
- Assist with HR projects, such as performance management, employee engagement, and policy updates.
- Respond to employee inquiries and provide basic HR-related guidance.
- Assist with ad hoc HR reporting and analytics.
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- 5 years experience working in the mining industry.
- Experience working as an HR Coordinator.
- Experience working at underground mining companies.
- Knowledge of Employee Equity Act, Labour Relations Act, Basic Conditions of Employment Act, Skills Development Act.
- Proficiency in HRIS and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Extensive expertise in strategic workforce planning, talent acquisition, absenteeism monitoring, leave management, employee transitions, labor relations, organizational change facilitation, timekeeping, comprehensive reporting, and fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion.
