About the position
- Provide Advice and ensure adherence to applicable Ten Civils recruitment policy
- Partner with the business to identify the required talent and develop a sourcing plan to meet staffing gaps
- Placement of new vacancies to be advertised externally through appropriate channels
- Shortlist and participate in the interviews with hiring managers and other required member panelist.
- Manage the entire talent acquisition process until placement of suitable candidate and including the preparation of appointment letters/contracts of employment for the successful candidates
- Send out regret letters to unsuccessful candidates and give feedback where necessay
- Maintain and update the talent acquisition database to reflect current information and ensure integrity and accuracy of data
- Promote a learning environment and implement self-development to maintain and improve expert status within the organisation
- Ensure the retention of new staff by facilitating new hire on-boarding, including co-ordination and administration of induction, benefits presentation, and other key information necessary for the well-being of staff
- Ensure that you have thorough knowledge of the businessto effectively align HR solutions to business needs and operational requirements by managing the correct processes.
- Development of HR polocies and procedures
- Career and succession planning
- Conflict management and resolution
- Conduct post-implementation reviews to ensure desired business results were achieved
- Understand and support the business in achieving its objectives
- Demonstate a sound knowledge of HR policies, procedures and processes , plus an understanding of the business, inter-departmental processes and the external environment and how these impact on your area responsibility
- Represent the comany at the CCMA and or bargaining council
