Temp HR Administrator (6-8 months)

This role is responsible for all head office support. It includes various HR administration and co-ordination support for the wider business in executing the people strategy as well as front-line duties to ensure operations can run smoothly and efficiently, with a strong client services emphasis. Role is ideally suited to applicants with previous HR, switchboard and reception experience, with a minimum of 1-3 years' experience in a similar role.
Key responsibilities include:
- Training co-ordination, related reporting & maintaining records (CPD, FASSET, internal/external training, etc.)
- Ensuring HR compliance
- Employee benefits administration support
- Facilitate and provide support with various events (offsite training, Mandela day, etc.)
- Assist with online meetings (recordings, sound check, questions, etc.)
- Scanning & filing of employee documents
- Audit employee files, when required
- HR related administrative support
- High volume general HR & office administration, which is varied, and deadline driven
- Ability to work independently, attention to detail and excellent organisational skills, as well as ability to demonstrate initiative are essential
- Ad hoc Reception relief: welcome of visitors, announcing, ensuring refreshments on arrival
- Co-ordination of facility bookings (meeting rooms) during busy periods, including incoming and outgoing mail & deliveries
- Clear FIC checks (including credit and criminal checks) are required
Key requirements for applicants:
- Previous experience in similar function with proven track record (1-3 years)
- Matric a requirement, preferably with relevant People Management qualification
- Intermediate Computer literacy MS Office suite a requirement (specifically Outlook, Excel & Teams)
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- High degree of accuracy , confidentiality, attention to detail and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Customer services orientation and professional manner a necessity
- Ability to work independently, and as part of the team & excellent organisational skills a requirement
