Job Title: HR & SHEQ Manager

Job Description
- Manage daily human resources, recruitment, and general employee relations for depot staff.
- Oversee site safety procedures, risk assessments, and health compliance audits regularly.
- Coordinate ongoing training, license updates, and fatigue monitoring for professional drivers.
- Ensure total adherence to South African road transport laws and safety policies.
- Handle employee grievances, disciplinary processes, and basic dispute resolution procedures.
- Keep accurate staff records, driver files, and regular operational reporting metrics up to date.
- Lead monthly site safety committee meetings to promote a secure working culture.
What You Need to Apply
- Grade 12 Senior Certificate plus a relevant HR or Safety qualification.
- Minimum 5 years of general HR experience within transport or logistics.
- Practical knowledge of road transport compliance, safety rules, and driver training.
- Solid understanding of South African labor laws like the BCEA and LRA.
- Professional registration with SABPP or SAIOSH is a great advantage.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a clear, calm communication style.
