About the position
Our Client based in Pretoria within the manufacturing industry is seeking a dynamic, detail-focused HR & Payroll Manager to lead our people processes across their Company.
Responsibilities:
- Processing the full monthly payroll function (incl. EMP201, IRP5s, UIF, SDL, loans, deductions).
- Managing all statutory submissions via SARS eFiling, EasyFile, and ensuring data integrity in the Payroll system.
- Leading disciplinary processes, maintaining the warnings register, and representing the business at the CCMA when needed.
- Ensuring full compliance with MIBCO and ROE submissions under the COID Act.
- Overseeing onboarding, off-boarding, record keeping, wellness initiatives, and employee engagement efforts.
- Acting as a systems custodian for HR platforms, document control, and sensitive data.
Minimum requirements:
- Minimum 8 years' experience in HR and Payroll, with at least 3 in managerial capacity.
- Strong working knowledge of Sage, MIBCO, EasyFile, SARS eFiling, and labour law.
- Proven track record in running payroll end-to-end and handling IR matters independently.
- A relevant qualification in HR, Payroll, Labour Law, or a related field.
- Someone who thrives in a structured, high-accountability environment with a practical approach.
