About the position

Our Client is looking for a Housekeeper to join their team
Location: Stellenbosch
 
Main Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of hotel rooms and guest communal areas.
• Perform turndown and general housekeeping services to ensure a seamless guest experience.
• Exceed guest expectations from arrival to departure across all areas of their stay.
• Ensure all guest special requests and requirements are clearly communicated and fulfilled by relevant departments.
• Deliver consistently high standards of service at all times.
• Use creative thinking to enhance the overall guest experience.
• Adhere to and maintain health and safety standards at all times.

 Experience and Skills

• Minimum of 2 years housekeeping experience in a luxury hotel or similar environment.
• Knowledge of cleaning products, techniques, and housekeeping methods.
• Strong time management and punctuality.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• High attention to detail.
• Ability to remain calm, professional, and efficient under pressure.
• Impeccable grooming standards.
• Strong personal and professional integrity.

 Qualifications and Requirements

• Matric Certificate or equivalent advantageous.
• Good communication skills in English.
• High level of physical endurance.

Ability to work shifts, including night shifts
