Our Client is looking for a  Housekeeper to join their team
Area/Location:  Franschhoek, Cape Town

A leading luxury hospitality group known for delivering sophisticated escapes and unique guest experiences is seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Housekeeper. This position is ideal for a flexible individual who can multitask and work at a fast pace while maintaining a high level of quality and care. A strong eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic environment are essential for success in this role.

Main Responsibilities: 

• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of hotel rooms and communal guest areas
• Perform turndown and general housekeeping services to support a seamless guest experience
• Consistently exceed guest expectations from arrival to departure
• Ensure clear communication and execution of all guest special requests and requirements across departments
• Deliver exceptional service with attention to guest comfort and satisfaction
• Demonstrate creativity and initiative in enhancing the guest experience
• Comply with Health and Safety regulations at all times
• Experience and Skills:
• Minimum of 2 years of housekeeping experience in a luxury hotel or similar environment
• Familiarity with cleaning products, methods, and techniques
• Excellent time management and punctuality
• Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
• High standards of personal grooming and hygiene
• Demonstrates personal and professional integrity

Inherent Requirements:

• Matric Certificate or equivalent qualification preferred
• Good communication skills in English
• High level of physical endurance
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including night shifts
