About the position

One of our clients is looking for an experienced Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic to join their team. Client is based in the Empangeni area.

The successful candidate must have :

  1. Matric/N3 ( Maths and Physics)
  2. Trade test ( Diesel Mechanic)
  3. Valid driver's licence ( preferrable a Code 14 licence)
    • 4 years experience working trucks and truck trailers
  5. Be fluent in English

Duities include :-

  • Field service and workshop repairs and maintenance of trucks and trailers
  • Must be able to weld
  • Be able to work on air,hydraulics, elecrtical, braking system
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with equipment
  • Perform preventative maintenance to ensure equipment functions properly and avoid costly breakdowns
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed on equipment
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operation of equipment
  • Comply with all safety regulations and ensure equipment is safe to operate
