DBN000065 – Head of Operations & Maintenance - Ballito
Purpose of the Job:
To effectively mange company assets, maximize operational efficiency and maintain industry standards.
Required Qualifications
- Technical qualification
- 5+ years of experience in solar operations, maintenance, or asset management, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of solar PV systems, inverters, and data analytics.
- Proven experience in managing O&M contracts, performance guarantees, and SLAs.
- Familiarity with electrical industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines.
Technical Competencies & Experience:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of Operations & Maintenance activities, including preventive & corrective maintenance.
- Lead and manage a team of engineers, technicians, and field personnel to optimize operational output.
- Establish preventive maintenance schedules & emergency response protocols.
- Develop &manage the Operations & Maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective operations.
- Work closely with clients, regulatory bodies & internal stakeholders to ensure transparency & compliance.
- Implement new technologies to enhance operational efficiency & asset longevity.
