About the position

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced leader and specialist to take up the role of Head of Information Technology for a large ICT and Business Solutions firm. Min Requirements:

B Degree
10 years + applicable experience (Senior IT Management role)
Experience in Telecommunications, Fintech or Corporate ICT industry would be advantageous

Salary:

R1 300 000 CTC per annum (excludes bonuses) - Negotiable

Responsibilities:

  • Create a vision for IT within the organisation, communicate it to employees, lead and motivate the team to achieve the vision.
  • Develop an IT strategy which identifies the future direction of the use of technology within the organisation to drive efficiencies.
  • Research options for future ICT development.
  • Become a champion for change, optimise current IT solutions and promote innovative solutions to operational challenges.
  • Procure, negotiate, manage, and monitor contracts for IT services provided by third parties and ensure effective service delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation as applicable to IT usage and security.
  • Financial Management - Formulate IT budget and monthly reporting budget vs actual.
