About the position
- To infuse greater rigour into the business and drive performance through gaining a good understanding of the business and their needs, and meeting these needs. To support the business through finance business partnering, and contribute to commercial negotiations,strategy development and decision making across the whole business.
- Ideal: Position requires extensive experience in Financial Management, Strategy management, Risk management and a thorough understanding of business and accounting practices - at least 5 yrs
- Manage and drive cost reduction/control across the entire business (groupwide)
- Develop and maintain cost model to aid in cost allocations across the various Business units (Product and Customer)
- Provide accurate and timeous financial data by developing and standardising templates/presentations/reports for Products and Customers.
- Ensure accuracy, reliability, speed, of which data is made available to enhance decision making (one version of the truth)
- Impove the budgeting and strategic planning process by developing and standardising templates and/or creating platforms for integration/centralisation of Group data
- Promote financial business partnering within the organisation
- Monitor and ensure successful execution of approved strategy and initiatives
