Our client, a dynamic and expanding group, is seeking an experienced Head of Finance to take ownership of the full financial function across multiple entities. This is a high-impact leadership role where you will drive financial performance, ensure compliance, and provide strategic direction to support business growth. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the financial performance of the group, including reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
• Oversee treasury, cash flow management, and currency hedging strategies
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, taxation regulations, and audit requirements across all entities
• Drive cost optimisation initiatives and identify opportunities to improve financial efficiency
• Manage and mentor the finance team, fostering a high-performance culture
• Oversee audits, internal controls, and risk management frameworks
• Provide strategic financial insights to support business decision-making
• Manage stakeholder relationships including auditors, clients, suppliers, and internal leadership

Job Experience & Skills Required 

Education:

• Qualified CA(SA), CIMA, or ACCA (non-negotiable)

Experience:

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in a senior finance/management role within the manufacturing industry (non negotiable)
• Proven experience managing multiple entities or group structures
• Strong background in financial reporting, compliance, and treasury management

Skills:

• Experience with Syspro (advantageous)
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent leadership and people management skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• High attention to detail with the ability to meet strict deadlines
