You're a natural leader with high integrity, discretion, and a deep understanding of trusts and estates. You're calm under pressure, strategic in your thinking, and excellent at managing complex client relationships with a high degree of sensitivity. You're confident presenting to clients, mentoring junior staff, and navigating both legal detail and broader family dynamics.
You'll play a central role in advising ultra-HNW families on all matters related to trusts, estate planning, wills, and philanthropy. Acting as Expert Trustee, you'll ensure clients' legacies are preserved and transferred across generations. Your days will be filled with complex structuring, strategic planning, and navigating cross-border estate matters. You'll collaborate with legal, financial, and tax advisors while also mentoring junior team members and representing the business in client forums and events .

You'll be an admitted attorney in South Africa with a law degree (LLB or equivalent) and a strong commercial or tax background. You must have significant experience in trusts and fiduciary law, ideally gained in a senior role within a law firm or corporate fiduciary environment. Proven ability to advise HNW/UHNW clients, excellent legal drafting skills, and up-to-date knowledge of local and international legal frameworks are essential .
