About the position
Our hospitality client is seeking a creative and charismatic Head Mixologist to lead our bar program at one of the country’s most iconic 5-star Wine Estates. This is a unique opportunity to curate a world-class cocktail experience that complements our award-winning wines, fine dining offering, and breathtaking setting.
What You’ll Do:
- Design and execute an innovative cocktail menu that celebrates local ingredients, seasonal flavors, and estate-produced wines and spirits.
- Lead and mentor the bar team to deliver exceptional guest experiences with flair and precision.
- Collaborate closely with the Food & Beverage Manager, Executive Chef, and Sommelier to create harmonious pairings and elevate the estate’s holistic offering.
- Maintain high standards of quality, presentation, and consistency across all bar services.
- Oversee stock control, ordering, costing, and inventory management.
- Drive bar revenue through creative events, upselling, and guest engagement.
- Stay ahead of global mixology trends while keeping sustainability and storytelling at the core of the beverage experience.
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience as a Head Bartender or Mixologist in a luxury or high-end environment.
- Deep knowledge of spirits, cocktails, and modern mixology techniques.
- Passion for hospitality, creativity, and guest interaction.
- Strong leadership, training, and team development skills.
- A polished, professional appearance and excellent communication skills.
- Experience working with wine estates, boutique hotels, or fine dining venues is an advantage.
- WSET or similar beverage certification is a plus.
